Our Daily BreadOur Daily Bread is Maryland’s hot meal program, serving more than a quarter million meals to the hungry of Baltimore City 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Since opening in 1981, we have never missed a single day. The nutritious meal is served by generous volunteers who take four hours out of their day to feed Baltimore’s hungry.
Every plate comes with a warm welcome when Arthur Jasmin serves at the Our Daily Bread hot meal program. Along with the requisite apron, a smile is always worn by the monthly volunteer. Arthur served for the past 16 years as parish coordinator of St. Gabriel’s, Woodlawn, third-Tuesday meatball lunch. To complement the meal, Arthur makes his special gravy. In 2 Corinthians 9:7 we are told “God loves a cheerful giver,” and undoubtedly, Arthur Jasmin is included among this selfless group. How can you get involved like Mr. Jasmin?
