Gallagher Services is rooted in the funamental belief in each person's worth and dignity.  Through the power of human relationship and our pursuit of excellence, we continually open the doors to a fuller life for people with developmental disabilites and those who serve them.

“In over 20 years working with people with developmental disabilities, it occurs to me that there are several ingredients that help us create positive outcomes for the people we support at Gallagher Services.  When we welcome individuals into our community, our primary goal is to help the individual develop his or her full potential.  To accomplish this, we know that we have to focus on each person’s unique needs.  Growth towards this goal sometimes occurs in small steps.  These steps can be monumental achievements for the individual, no matter how small. Learning a new life skill is a gain for a lifetime.   Participating in a meaningful daytime activity or employment builds self esteem and pride.  There are also times that we have to work to “find another way” to help an individual take that next step towards fulfillment.  We do this because we know first-hand about the gifts that people with developmental disabilities bring.  It is our commitment to be sure that these gifts are shared not only with us but also with the communities in which they live and work.”
